Nadia Biryukova – Controller

Nadia has 30 years of experience in different financial and accounting management positions. Prior to joining Vega Consulting, Nadia served as Division Controller for Lender Processing Services, Inc. (NYSE: LPS), a part of the Nation’s leading provider of mortgage processing services, settlement services, mortgage performance analytics and default solutions. In her position, Nadia oversaw financial planning and analysis, budgets and forecasts preparations, financial reporting, monthly closing within strict deadlines, sub-certification reviews, payroll, daily accounting operations and overall controllership of the business division. Before that, Nadia worked for as a Senior Accountant for ADVANCED BusinessLink, a leading e-business solutions corporation headquartered in Kirkland, WA with branches worldwide.

Prior to immigrating to the United States, Nadia had a successful business career in her homeland of Ukraine. She earned Master of Business Administration degree from Donetsk University of Economics and Commerce, Ukraine.

Nadia lives in Issaquah, WA. When Nadia isn’t working, she loves to read, cook and spend time with her family and friends.

Destiny Strickland – HR/Operations Manager

Destiny joined Vega Consulting as a recruiter in 2011 and immediately became an essential part of the team. Along with her charisma and strong work ethic she brings her passion for recruiting and human resources to Vega. She has experience in a variety of HR functions, but specializes in areas such as recruiting, career consulting, vendor management and HR operations. She brings years of both corporate and consulting agency experience to the table. During her tenure with her previous company she impacted the recruiting team by developing and launching their vendor management program, advising on recruiting lifecycle, analytics, and process improvements. In preceding roles, Destiny specialized in immigration, benefits, employee relations, training and development.

Destiny attended Central Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in information technology and human resource management, and was actively involved as the president of the Society of Human Resource Management. When Destiny isn’t busy working and professionally networking, she enjoys volunteering at various programs for youths in need.

Shelly Kamran – Group Account Manager

Shelly joined Vega Consulting in 2009 to help grow the business, and serves as the group account and engagement manager. Her specialties include project and account management, expanding accounts, business development and operations. Shelly’s vast professional network includes a large number of consultants and clients, and she is the point of contact for many Vega engagements. Prior to joining Vega, Shelly worked as a senior independent recruiting consultant who served clients in and around the Northwest that worked directly with Microsoft.

Shelly graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the Foster School of Business. She also did part of her undergrad education at New York University at the Stern School of Business.

In her down time, Shelly throws lavish Bollywood dance parties monthly which capture the attention of the local South Asian professional community—a key component of her professional network. Shelly also enjoys being immersed in social media, working out and spending time with close friends and family.

Chris Haven – Account Manager

Chris has twenty years of consulting experience with clients across software, biotechnology, networking, communications, e-commerce and oil & gas industries. He is always eager to tackle new challenges and build teams, improve tools and processes, and develop more business insights. Chris’ projects and roles form a broad spectrum ranging from digital marketing to data warehousing, and from Wall Street investment analysis to supply chain optimization.

For the past seven years, Chris has worked as a digital marketer and program manager within various Microsoft organizations. Currently, as a global campaign manager he manages a portfolio of both commercial and consumer product priorities.

Chris graduated with a double major from Rice University and earned an MBA with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Redmond with his wife and beautiful baby daughter.
